F-Theta Lenses High-Power
F-Theta scan lens is a core optical component in high-power laser processing systems, widely used in laser marking, cutting, welding, cleaning, and additive manufacturing. Featuring a unique flat-field design, it ensures that the focused beam height follows the f×θ relationship, allowing the scanning mirror to operate at a constant angular velocity while providing a flat focal plane across the entire scanning field.
High-Power Performance
High-power F-Theta lenses are manufactured using low-absorption optical materials such as UV-grade fused silica, offering extremely high laser damage thresholds capable of withstanding kilowatt-level laser power. For ultra-high-power applications exceeding 6 kW, specialized substrates such as CaFâ‚‚ or sapphire are available. Premium models feature patented mounting technology that compensates for thermal stress, enabling minimal focal shift under high-power operation without active cooling.
Optical Specifications
These lenses are optimized for mainstream laser wavelengths including 355nm, 532nm, and 1064nm, offering a comprehensive range of focal lengths from 32mm to 920mm and scan fields from 6×6mm to 710×710mm. Low-absorption coating technology effectively suppresses thermal lensing effects, ensuring beam stability during prolonged operation. Low telecentricity error design minimizes spot size variation between the center and edge of the scan field, delivering excellent processing uniformity.
Typical Applications
High-power F-Theta scan lenses are critical optical components in advanced manufacturing processes including EV battery welding, large-format laser cleaning, metal cutting, high-depth engraving, and 3D metal printing. The standard M85×1 mounting thread ensures convenient integration with mainstream galvo scanning systems.
