BXZ-10.6-2-6X is a continuous zoom beam expander specifically designed for 10.6μm carbon dioxide lasers. Manufactured with high-quality zinc selenide (ZnSe) optical material and precision coating technology, it delivers excellent transmittance and a high damage threshold in the far-infrared band.
The key advantage of this product is its continuous zoom function, offering an adjustable magnification range from 2× to 6×, allowing flexible adjustment of laser beam diameter without the need for lens changes to suit various processing requirements. It features a 16mm entrance aperture and a large 96mm exit aperture, accommodating larger input beam diameters. The beam expander has a compact length ranging from 205.8mm to 212.4mm, facilitating easy system integration.
This beam expander adopts a Galilean optical design with no internal focal point, effectively avoiding air ionization risks in high-power laser applications, making it particularly suitable for high-power CO₂ laser systems. Zinc selenide (ZnSe) material offers extremely high transmittance and low absorption at the 10.6μm wavelength, and combined with advanced anti-reflective coatings, the total transmittance can exceed 97%. Adjustable divergence allows optimal matching with different laser systems.
